SLURRY UP™ - PRE Treatment for Jobsite Slurry & Water-Based Paint Washout

New SLURRY UP™ is a clay-based granular powder designed to deal with messy, high pH jobsite wash water. Empty a full sachet into your washout bucket, give it a stir and let SLURRY UP™ get to work. Solids bind together and drop to the bottom, pH is reduced and your waste bucket is ready to run through your SLURRYTUB® for quick filtering, cleaner work sites and easier compliance.

Each 35g sachet is the ideal treatment for a standard 20L plastic washout bucket. Stir to activate and watch the solids separate and fall to the bottom.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Treat your washout bucket

Fill a standard 20L plastic jobsite bucket with your wash water, this might be from:

Rinsing paint brushes and rollers
Tile glue or grout wash-up
Drywall or plaster wash-down
Wet saw trays, concrete cutting or grinding slurry

Add one 35g SLURRY UP™ sachet to the bucket.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

2. Stir to activate

Stir the bucket firmly for around 60–90 seconds to hydrate and activate the material.

Fine particles and contaminants bind together into larger particles
Suspended solids and heavy metals are trapped and start to fall to the bottom
The pH-reducing additive starts to bring high pH wash water down to a safer level
Let the contents settle in the wash bucket until the solids have clearly separated.

3. Filter with SLURRYTUB®

Once the solids have settled:

Empty the treated bucket into your SLURRYTUB® with a filter fitted.

4. Dispose of Hardened Waste

When the water has drained remove the filter and dispose of the captured solids with normal site waste.

What is SLURRY UP™?

SLURRY UP is a proprietary blend of clay-based minerals and pH reducers designed to treat jobsite slurry and water-based paint wash water. It helps suspended solids and contaminants bind together and settle quickly so they can be filtered and contained in your SLURRYTUB.

How does it work?

Add a 35 g sachet to a standard 20L washout bucket, stir to activate for around 60 - 90 seconds, then let the solids settle. The clay-based minerals grab the fine particles, form larger clumps and help reduce the pH of the wash water. You then empty the bucket into your SLURRYTUB® where the solids are captured in the filter and the treated water drains through.

What can I use it for?

SLURRY UP™ is designed for common jobsite washouts such as:
Water-based paint brush and roller wash-up
Tile glue and adhesive wash water
Grout, mortar and render washouts
Drywall and plaster wash water
Concrete cutting, grinding and polishing slurry
Wet saw tray water from cutting stone, tiles, bricks and pavers

Will it work with paint?

YES, only for rinsing/cleaning your brushes, rollers and trays.

PLEASE NOTE: SLURRY UP™ is not designed for disposing of leftover paint straight out of the tin. For leftover/excess paint follow the paint manufacturer’s disposal instructions and in accordance with local regulations.

Does this replace the SLURRYTUB filter?

No. SLURRY UP™ is ideal for existing SLURRYTUB users and for new users who need an easy, portable way to manage slurry and washout on site. It is a simple upgrade that makes the SLURRYTUB system even faster and more effective.
