HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Place Filter In Tub
Begin by placing the biodegradable cellulose filter inside the SLURRYTUB®. Ensure the flap with the logo is positioned over the cut-out area at the front of the tub. This cut-out allows easy access for wheelbarrows. Secure the filter by placing the reinforced holes in the filter over the cleats located in each corner of the tub. These cleats hold the filter securely in place, preventing it from shifting during the washout process. The filter is designed to capture all slurry sediment, ensuring only clean water passes through.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
2. Wash Up Tools & Pour Slurry Into Tub
Once your tools, equipment, or machinery (such as wheelbarrows, mixers, or hand tools) have been used, it’s time for washup. Stand the wheelbarrow up and pour the slurry into the SLURRYTUB®. The tub is designed to accommodate the lip of the wheelbarrow in the cut-out section, providing hands-free support for easy, mess-free pouring. As the slurry enters the tub, the filter begins separating out solid particles like cement, grout, and other sediments, while allowing the water to continue through for filtration.

3. Allow Water To Filter In Washout Area
After pouring the slurry into the SLURRYTUB®, the water will begin filtering through the biodegradable filter. Position the tub in a designated washout area for safe drainage, or direct the filtered water to a location where it can be recycled on-site. SLURRYTUB’s innovative filtration system ensures that the water passing through is visibly clear, free of suspended solids, and environmentally safe. The filtration process typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes depending on the contents of the slurry, allowing you to get back to work while it filters.

4. Dispose of Hardened Waste
Once the water has drained, the remaining solid waste, now hardened, will be captured by the filter. Simply remove the filter and its contents from the SLURRYTUB® and dispose of them in the appropriate waste disposal method, such as a site skip. Because the filter is biodegradable, it can be disposed of responsibly along with the hardened waste. For best results, use only one filter per washout session to ensure maximum filtration efficiency and prevent overloading the system with too much slurry sediment.

I'd recommend the product to any other landscapers, DIY dads or just anyone that want to keep a job site clean and just do something good for the environment.
It's very effective I think cleaning up, most tradies could agree is probably the worst part of the job and it's stops getting water on the street.
It's environmentally friendly and prevents any runoff going down into the drains or if your working by the street, going into the gutters.
On the job fluids, they always get out of hand, with SLURRYTUB I have always got a got fullback situation.
SLURRYTUB was pretty straightforward, easy to set up, clean, and then pack away.
Anywhere where you've got a tight site, tight access, and nowhere to clean up, it's the perfect product.
I'd recommend SLURRYTUB to most trades, other landscapers DIYers renders, tilers, bricklayers anyone that's dealing with sand, cement, and concrete every day. You would be pretty crazy to have this product if your working on residential properties.
We've been using the SLURRYTUB for the better part of a year now and we've had jobs from pool surrounds to large nature reserves, where we're doing anything from grouting, paving, tiling, and stonework and the SLURRYTUB seems to work efficiently on all of those. I'd recommended SLURRYTUB and will continue to recommend SLURRYTUB because it's a fantastic product.
I'd recommend SLURRYTUB to basically anyone who uses water or cement. All builders should set up a little station right next to a tap if it's their people use it, so it's a no-brainer.
I leave the tub to drain into another tub after a day of concreting as I put it all into the shed when not on site. Generally, I have close to 10 liters of clean water after a mixer & barrow washdown. Once the old filter is dry I have been breaking down the dry slurry and using it to fill a low spot in the drive so nothing is wasted - great idea these tubs!
Those that know, know. SLURRYTUB is the way to go. Hassle free environmentally friendly way to clean the gear at the end of the day. Even better to catch run off from the wet saws..you know those niggly jobs in the city when you don’t have the proper wash out for your concrete pumps. Well these beauties will save us a lot of hard work.

Overall great product. Two little things I would change. 1. The orange sticker on the snap lock bags doesn’t really need to be there, if you try and rip it open and plastic bag can tear. 2. The two bungs on the slurry tub need a cord or chain so they don’t get lost! Great product!

Finally, no guilts when completing a job requiring mortar, concrete or bricksaw. I hate having to find somewhere to dump excess slurry. Great innovative product for all trades including landscapers.
As a DIYer 1 filter was more than enough for 1 day of mixing excess, I can see why trades like it so much.
The tub it's self is a great idea. But the filter paper is way to fine. They need to make different grade filters, not everyone can wait forever for it to drain. I will be try some old sheets. As I only want to catch the solids not drink the water afterwards

The SLURRYTUB® can hold up to 35-40L of wet trade waste material, plenty for your standard wheelbarrow washout. If you need more capacity on-site, no worries! Have another tub ready to go. Our twin kit is a perfect option for higher-volume requirements.
Typically, drying takes around 30 to 60 minutes, but this can vary depending on the washout material. Once the waste has hardened, simply empty the contents and biodegradable filter into the site skip bin, or safely dispose of them off-site in line with environmental guidelines.
You bet! The low-micron-rated paper filter used in SLURRYTUB® is great for those wash-ups. However, we don’t recommend using it with paint, adhesives, or waterproof membranes.
Carefully remove the filter from the ZIPLOCK bag and unfold it, making sure the flap with the logo faces the front of the tub. Attach the filter holes to the ‘cleats’ on each corner of the SLURRYTUB®, ensuring the flap sits over the lower cut-out area at the front of the tub.
